What's Wrong With Jack's Garden
berries Jack went to the garden center and purchased some fine looking red raspberry plants. He planted them in a small area that I used last year as a test garden in his yard. He may not get any berries this year, but the plants appear to be very healthy and sturdy so if all goes well, next year he'll have some lovely raspberries.

What's Wrong With Jack's Garden
overview Jack planted his garden over the Memorial Day Holiday. He set in some stepping stones, too. I think they look rather nice and will make moving about the garden much easier now that he added so much organic matter to the soil. A lot of clay still occupies space in his garden, but the soil clearly is draining better. He put in tomatoes, cukes, melons, lettuce and some interior fencing for his cukes to ride along.
