Accessible Vegetable
My friend and acupuncturist Paddy Tawada aka Dr. Pea, has an awesome idea that is powerful in it's simplicity. Basically gardeners can plant a few extra veggies in their front yards (or wherever) and make them available to the general public. Accessible Vegetables fundraiser/launch and movement: A simple human movement to make fresh veggies, fruit, nuts and herbs accessible to all...one pod at a time. Sun. Mar. 14 1 - 4 pm 1309 Singleton Avenue Austin, Tx 78702 www.accessiblevegetables.com It is a great idea for people who live in neighborhoods where fresh produce is hard to find, where decent grocery stores are miles away and many people do not have reliable transportation. Hooray!
